Customers needs
There is a stunning stain glass window in the bathroom, which was the inspiration for the colour scheme. The clients wanted to anchor on the blue and pink whilst complimenting the traditional style of the house in the floor covering. Ample storage and a double counter sink were key requirements along with a separate bath and shower.
Constraints
As a galley bathroom, we had to be very mindful of the width of the space vs the furniture selected. The age of the property created additional challenges as the walls and floors were not even or flat, so attention to detail on fitting was essential.
Our solution
By sourcing a shallow depth but long cabinet to be able to provide them with double countertop basins and ample storage space.
All the furniture and sanitaryware were moved down the wall a little to create a larger showering space, giving the whole room more balance.
The tile recommendations were bold for both the wall and floor so the customer experiencing them in Virtual Reality gave them the reassurance that the bold colours looked fantastic in the space - without this, they would not have agreed to the design.
