I'm Sarah Maguire, a home designer based in Edinburgh, helping families and couples across Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife create kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces that work beautifully for the way they live.
Whether you're planning an extension, reconfiguring your layout or making better use of the space you already have, I help take the overwhelm out of the process and make your renovation an enjoyable experience.
I've worked with homeowners in Cramond, Murrayfield, Morningside, Trinity, Balerno, Leith, Bruntsfield, The Grange and Linlithgow, helping them overcome awkward layouts, create more storage, open up kitchens into bright family spaces and modernise period homes while respecting their original character.
In Portobello, for example, I helped Nicole to transform two dark, disconnected rooms by removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room, creating one light-filled space where her family could cook, entertain and spend time together.
Rather than designing from a showroom, I work with you in your own home. Seeing how you live helps me understand what's not working and what you want to achieve. I then bring your ideas to life with detailed 3D designs and immersive virtual reality, so you can experience your new space before making your final decisions.
