Kitchen Wood Traditional
SOS, help!! I cant stand my kitchen any more. I want more light, I want it to be bright, made of beautiful materials, and really increase the storage space. But I dont want to set about large-scale building work and I want to stay in budget. I dont want all the handles to be the same, so Ill have different kinds of cabinet door knobs.
An existing tile splashback, the electrical system alreay installed, an extractor hood to be kept. The customer wanted to blend her future kitchen and the existing furniture in a harmonious way (sideboard, table, chairs).
To limit the building work, we kept the upper elements (extractor hood, beam, built structure). I kept the same kitchen layout. On the other hand, we really gained in storage space, with a large majority of sliding pot-and-pan drawers at various heights for the dishes, different pans, but also bottles, etc. We opted for white lacquered unit fronts, but with solid oak frames. The customer loved the black bamboo worktop, so we decided to use this for all the work surfaces. The oven was fitted into a small made-to-measure unit, but not too high to avoid reducing the natural light.
